About
Osvaldo Pugliese would have turned 120 this year and, to this day, his wildly beautiful tango music still has an almost magnetic pull on people - both on the dance floor of the milonga and off.
Stockholm Pugliese Weekend is a manifestation of the strong binding force of Pugliese’s music. During five days of workshops, milongas, concerts, films and more, we welcome both tango enthusiasts from all over the world and curious audiences to discover Pugliese and the enduring legacy of his music through tango’s younger generations.
Welcome to Stockholm Pugliese Weekend at Kulturhuset by Sergels torg, with its glass obelisk connecting us to El Obelisco in Buenos Aires, where Osvaldo Pugliese's music was born and found eternal life.
Stockholm Pugliese Weekend is a collaboration between Tango Norte, Milonga Press, Kulturhuset Stadsteatern och Klarabiografen.
